Lectio Divina: The format mentioned was from Fr. Olier, founder of the Sulpicians:
1. Read a verse of scripture

3. Jesus in my heart (what about the verse stirs within me?)
4. Jesus in my hands (what is it from this verse that I can apply in my
life?)
Spiritual Direction: a spiritual director is a guide who helps you in your relationship with God; they help you see where God is present, provide guidance in terms of prayer and responding to God's call and at times challenge you. You can ask a priest (some may not because of their schedule) or check at a retreat house, monastary or shrine. Spiritual Directors change as one's relationship with the Lord grows and it sometimes takes a while to find a "good fit".
